SAVORY SWEET MACS FOR A SAVORY SWEET YEAR
One year melting into the next always leaves us pondering where we have been, reflecting on all that has happened and dreaming of the possibilities to come. Another year has come and gone and, as we step into the next, we taste the many flavors of the events of our lives: sweet with success, bitter with loss, salty with tears of both sadness and joy and savory with experiences, dreams, friendship and love.
As we say goodbye to the last days of 2010, having exchanged gifts, toasted each other with champagne, cooked and baked, broken bread and shared laughter with friends and family, we welcome 2011 with open arms and hope for a fabulous, joyous, prosperous year ahead. We gathered our forces and challenged ourselves to take all of our emotions, the sweet and the savory, and measure and mix and create a savory-sweet Macaron for these festive, thoughtful days. Quite a challenge, yet look at the stunning results!
