Give 'em the old razzle dazzle
Razzle Dazzle 'em
Give 'em an act with lots of flash in it
And the reaction will be passionate
Give 'em the old hocus pocus
Bead and feather 'em
How can they see with sequins in their eyes?

- Chicago, the Musical
Let’s start off the New Year with a bang! Bright lights, outrageous colors, deck ourselves out to dazzle and welcome 2012 with vibrancy and excitement! The parties are over, the decorations are taken down and packed away, the goodies have all been gobbled and the festive spirit has faded away with the celebrations, the bubbly gone flat as we step outside to face the gloom of a dark January afternoon.
Far too often we tend to funnel all of our excitement and energy into Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and snowy, spirited, merry December. By January, well, we are a little spent, a tad burned out and just a bit depressed what with having to head back to work and school, start those post-holiday diets and face up to too many unrealistic new Year’s Resolutions. So why not turn it around and bring in January with a big, bright, glitzy, dazzling boom? We need a little pizzazz in our lives right about now so let’s do it right as only the MacPassionate can! And head into the New Year with an astounding splash!
Gaudy, garish, just a little ostentatious… let’s pull out all the stops and create something snazzy, something swanky, something special!
An unexpected combination of flavors to WOW?Flamboyant colors that scream excitement?
Give your macarons some star quality, that little je ne sais quoi to jazz up the winter white, brighten the January gloom, give some oomph to that long stretch of road lying ahead of us until the next holiday break or the first springtime bloom! Spunky macarons with just a little moxie to make us sing…
You know the rules…they never change!
