Macattack #12 - PINKARONS for PINKTOBER!

“The use of expressive colors is felt to be one of the basic elements of the modern mentality, an historical necessity, beyond choice.”
Henri Matisse

We thought we'd go PINK this month, and would love it if you would join in too. October is officially the Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I have been part of the campaign for the past 3-4 years. October in my home is kicked off with the DH's birthday early in the month, and year after year he gets a PINK cake in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness. He is happy to have the PINK, and we are sure all you fabulous peeps will be more then happy to strut your PINKS this month too. Jamie and I thought it might be a good idea to spread the awareness in a fun way!
October 1st marks the beginning of breast cancer awareness month all over the world. American Cancer Society uses this time to boost their campaign to raise awareness to breast cancer and to inform people that there is now a 98 percent rate of survival if the cancer is detected early. October is the month where you will see pink ribbons everywhere, which has been the national symbol for breast cancer awareness since it was first introduced back in 1991.
Lets' see how PINK we can go in our October macarons... shades of pink, pink filling, pink sprinkles, pink inspiration - whichever PINK catches your fancy, we'll be happy to see it. Let's join FEET and give it a shout - It's PINKARONS for PINKTOBER!

Please have your Mac Attack post up no later than October 25th '10.
We are open for suggestions for future Mac Attack themes so feel free to e-mail Jamie or Deeba!

Here are the rules of the game:
  1. Once you have posted your Mac Attack macarons on your blog, make sure that you mention the Mactweets Mac Attack challenge in your post and link back to the Mactweets blog.
  2. Please link back to this challenge on your post.
  3. Feel free to promote the Mactweets blog by proudly displaying the Mactweets badge in your Mac Attack post as well as in your sidebar! It isn't mandatory but is a nice way to get the word out!

Round up will be on October 30th, 2010.
